Initializing Errors

1005 Inkjet not responding!

The ink jet printer is not communicating with IMS5000 software. Corrective action:

• Verify ink jet printer power is on and that both the head light and print light are on.
• Verify correct ink jet printer has been selected.
• Re-initialize the ink jet marking system.

Initializing Infinitely!

• This is rare, but implies a communication error with your inkjet printer.
• Check the cables between the computer and inkjet.
• Or, try a cold start on the inkjet. Turn off the inkjet, unplug the power cable, count to ten, plug in, and turn on the inkjet.

XY error

4003 Unable to reset DMC6XX card

Problem resetting XY internal controller. Corrective action:

• Verify power is on the PC-Mate amplifier located within the right lower door.
• Verify that the cable from the ink head is not binding beneath the work station.
• Remove ink jet head and correct cable if binding situation is present.
• Re-initialize the ink jet marking system.

Variable Errors

1110 Based serial number value at end of range

The highest value has been achieved for the based serial variable. Corrective action:

• Open the Program Editor
• Open the variable and check the "Loop" attribute.

Note: if the program is not intended to loop, no corrective action should be taken.
